Islamabad the Second most beautiful Capital



Intro:

Islamabad bulit as a planned cityin the 1960.The city is divided in different zones .Islamabad is derived from two words Islam and abad mean the "CITY OF ISLAM".Am a student am also live in islamabad from last four year the city is amazing the weather the Greenery the wide road and peace.The wlid animal and the birds .In the weather of rain the Islamabad look like a queen.
In 1958, a commission was constituted to select a suitable site for the national capital with particular emphasis on location, climate, logistics, and defence requirements, along with other attributes. After extensive study, research, and a thorough review of potential sites, the commission recommended the area northeast of Rawalpindi in 1959.

1.Fasial Mosque

1.The city is home to different landmark one of them is Fasial Mosque, the Largest mosque in South Asia and the Fourth largest in the world.


2.Pakistan Monument

2.The monument was constructed to symbolize the unity of the Pakistani people. It is dedicated to the people of Pakistan who sacrificed their "today" for a better "tomorrow".


3.Margalla Hills


3.Established in 1980, Margalla Hills National Park covers approximately 17,386 hectares (67.13 sq mi).
 There are several hiking trails (Trail 1, Trail 2, Trail 3, Trail 4, Trail 5, Trail 6, Trail 7 (Shah Allah Dittah)), with the most famous being Trail 3 and trail 5.





4.Saidpur Village

4. Saidpur village is a Pakistani village located in a ravina in the Maragalla hills near Islamabad and the Daman-e-koh overlook.

5.Shakarparian

5. The old Gakhars tribe leaders settled here before Indo-Pak partition 1947; later the clan was relocated to create a park for newly marked federal capital of the country in 1960-61.
Shakarparian also has a Parade ground which host the Pakistan Day Prade every year on 23 March.



6.Daman-e-koh

6. It is a popular destination for the residents as well as the visitors to the capital.Daman-e-Koh is a midpoint for tourists on their way to the higher view point Pir Sahawa which is located at the top of Margalla hills at an elevation of about 3600ft. There is a plan to construct a chairlift from Daman-e-Koh to Pir sahawa. Monkeys are a common sight during winter. Cheetahs are frequently reported to descend from higher hills of Murree during snowfall.
